Meet Sabrina Torres: The Ultimate Utility Player at Fello Logistics
By Fello Logistics
In baseball, utility players – the ones who can step into multiple positions – are often the most valuable assets on the field. At Fello Logistics, we don’t swing bats but we do move freight, and Sabrina Torres is one of those versatile players who keeps our team running smoothly.
While her official title is executive assistant to the CEO, Dillon Blesi, that only scratches the surface of her contributions. Sabrina supports sales data organization, track-and-trace for auto hauling clients and handles the HR functions for new employees – all while jumping in wherever else she’s needed.
“We have different projects all the time, and whatever comes up, I am happy to help out with,” she says.
Sabrina joined Fello in fall 2023, fresh from earning her communications degree with a minor in international relations at San Francisco State University.
No stranger to juggling multiple roles, during college Sabrina worked as an administrative assistant at a landscaping company while holding down two server jobs. That experience taught her how to prioritize, manage stress and stay organized – skills that now serve her well at Fello.
“Juggling multiple responsibilities at the same time – having to go to school and work three jobs – was not necessarily an easy thing,” Sabrina admits. “But it definitely helped me figure out how to prioritize responsibilities and things that needed to get done. It helped me learn how to juggle things without getting overwhelmed.”
Despite having no logistics background when she first applied to Fello, Sabrina was drawn to the company’s customer-first approach and quickly saw how vital the industry is.
“At first it was completely new to me,” she said. “But the more I started working in it, the more I realized how crucial logistics is to keeping the world moving. I also noticed how much the industry lacks companies like Fello – ones that truly focus on communication and customer care.”
Her communications degree has come in handy, helping her bridge internal operations, client engagement and smooth coordination across teams.
Sabrina loves that Fello encourages continuous learning, accountability and self-improvement. She’s especially fond of the Fello book club, where employees read and discuss books focused on personal and professional growth.
“All the books are about self-help and self-improvement,” she said. “Those are some of the things that stand out to me about our culture. And that translates into our work in logistics.”
Outside of the office, Sabrina enjoys taking her puppies for walks, going to the gym and hanging out with her family.
“Being that we do work inside with computers all day, I try to take breaks and go outside once I get home, just to keep the balance,” Sabrina said.
Balance is critical for versatile team members who play so many different positions. Versatile, adaptable and always ready to step in where needed, Sabrina is a key player on the Fello team. Just like the best utility players in baseball, her ability to juggle multiple roles and thrive under pressure makes her an indispensable part of our success.
