Viking Forest Products: ‘It’s Been a Lot Smoother’

Viking Forest Products moves a high volume of freight for a company its size, including a lot of imports from China. Until recently, the company was trying to manage relationships with a different company for each of the following – ocean freight, drayage, warehousing and last-mile delivery.

The company desperately needed to streamline and simplify the process.

THE RESULT

The answer came in 2020 from Fello Logistics, which had the people and the capacity to step in and manage the entire process while becoming a single point of contact for Viking. In the four years since, Viking’s import volume has only gone up. Starting in 2023, Fello has become involved with every aspect of Viking’s logistics operation.

The process remains smooth and transparent as Fello keeps all relationships working well while keeping Viking informed of what’s happening every step of the way.

If I hear from a customer that something is messed up, I don’t like it. But Dylan tends to be on top of situations like that so it doesn’t get to that point.”
